## The defense argues

You were tired. The chat was seventy messages of brunch logistics deep. Answering one thing means answering everything, and you have a job, a skincare protocol, and a fragile peace to maintain.

## The prosecution responds

Fourteen seconds. That's what a *"dying, will respond properly tomorrow"* costs. The group chat is a chosen family dinner table, and you don't leave chosen family holding a casserole in the doorway while you watch them through the window.

## The verdict

> DISGRACE — with a suspended sentence, because we've all done it.
